You can specify the area to optimize, choose the shape type, number of territories, and balance points such as numeric fields. The Optimizer will automatically generate optimal territory shapes to distribute records or values based on your criteria.

Choose your shape type, data point, and the number of territories you need. The optimizer can balance territories using any numerical or currency field. This feature is ideal if you need to quickly generate balanced territories or formalize a starting point for more complex models.

The Optimizer will also allow you to lock existing territories while you select and work on adding/updating additional territories.
